Japan consumer Press online is put up by Nippon Shouhisha Shinbun-Sha, Japanese consumer newspaper Co., Ltd. It has published a newspaper in Japanese for more than 30 years. The founder,Michiharu Iwashita,have met in his youth Minamata Disease, methyl mercury poisoning pollution,which occurred for sacrificing people's health and environment to pursue economic growth. Since then, Iwashita has devoted himself to his job, reporting consumer's issues from food safety to environmental pollution. We also keep reporting the following problems. "Youth victim sales","Spam mail linked multiple consumer loans", "Product liability problem","Exogenous endocrine disrupting chemicals", and "Dioxin contamination measures." Our coverage object is all fields concerning the consumer's like food, clothing, and housing.We always stand for consumers, and are aiming at a better newspaper.

Converges from Consumer's groups to NPO and NGO.
Reporting concerning protection for consumer's right, food, medicine, and consumer trouble such as illegal contract, accident, and injury.
Reporting concerning environmental problems
Introduction of product test posted by consumer groups from public to private.
Investigative journalism concerning such products test
We have a lot of serial projects like "Warning 21", "The consumer is now (proposal 2004)", and "Defend the global environment".
We are offering overseas consumer's issue information.

We are issuing a Japanese newspaper twice a month.
The date of issue is the first and the 15th.
The subscription fee is 12,600 yen a year.
