Residual pesticide detected from vegetable from South Korea again

It is Chlorpyrifos this time

By JCPRESS

The residual pesticide was detected from the shallot from South Korea again.

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare executed the inspection instruction based on Food Sanitation Law on November 12.

It is because the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare that executed the inspection of two degrees in June and November this year detected organophosphorus pesticide "Chlorpyrifos" that exceeds twice (0.02ppm) the standard.

Import traders cannot sell it by executing the inspection instruction domestically as long as safety is not proven by the inspection.

The ministry just executed the inspection instruction over the shallot from South Korea on November 4. It is because it had detected pesticide "Broshimidon" that exceeded the standard.
