Mitsubishi Fuso exported vehicles that had been decided recalling in Japan to about 70 countries

Defect information from foreign countries reached 15

By JCPRESS

Mitsubishi Fuso Track and Bus Corp., spun off from Mitsubishi Motors Corp. in January 2003, announced that it had confirmed 15 defect, or trouble, information that caused the recall in Japan in foreign countries on November 17.

Because the danger of the accident is high, this company is advancing 11 recalls in Japan by priority.

The number of export that relates to the 11 defects is about 50,000.

Customers are in about 70 countries such as Malaysia, Turkey, China, and Taiwan.

Other customers are in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand.

The company explains that staff of local sales companies recall the faulty component while contacting a local control authority.

The local staff is visiting the customer directly in the country without the recall system.

The Public Relations Department of this company speaks, "It cannot be asserted that there is no accident though the report of the accident is not drawn at present".
