Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced on November 25 that it checked and repaired about 75000 frozen refrigerators free of charge.
It is because the splinter falls into the ice case after damaging the ice tray made of plastic being set up by the automatic ice manufacture machine of the frozen refrigerator.
The company described that plastic strength of the ice tray was insufficient.
It seems to have been a cause to have used plastic to which strength was weak.
The number of the check and the repair reaches about 75,000.
