Environment Ministry expressed disapproval about execution of Minamata disease patient relief in fiscal year 2005


Is there a policy that is more important than patients' reliefs?

Vice-minister of the Ministry of the Environment Shigeru Sumitani showed posture "It is difficult for us to execute it in fiscal year 2005" about the patient relief idea that Kumamoto Prefecture had presented at the regular news conference on December 6.

Moreover, budgetary process will come to an end in the coming year. If the business scale and the schedule were based, it is difficult to execute everything in fiscal year 2005".
