An opposite voice to the diluted bill to protect whistle-blowers becomes strong.The consumer groups have demanded the modification of the bill , saying that "Those who indict it cannot be protected".
The consumers groups is requesting the correction of the water downed bill to protect whistle-blowers, which Cabinet endorsed on March 9 and criticized by the Liberal Democratic Party.
It is because the last version, drafted by Cabinet Office, narrows the scope of protection for whistle-blowers, and the protected range of the whistle-blowers has been limited.
