Tokai pickles recalls the ginger pickles, contained preservatives exceeding a legal basis

The major pickles manufacturer Tokai pickles Co., Aichi Prefecture, said on March 18 that it would recall ginger pickles "Otokuna Hosogiri Shoga" which have been included for the food additive that exceeds a legal basis.

The food additive is preservative,"Potassium sorbate". The company turned out inspecting it based on the inquiry of the consumer. The number of recalled objects are about 6,000 bags.

"It was confirmed on March 11 that the pickles had violated a legal standard, "the company said.
