National Liaison Committee of Consumers' Organizations( Shodanren) and Japanese Consumers' Co-operative Union(JCCU) plan to hold the nationwide consumers' meeting on March 25.
Both of them request a drastic revision of the Consumers Protection Basic Law and an establishment of protective system for the whistle-blower, narrowed the scope of protection for workers who reveal corporate wrongdoing by the Liberal Democratic Party.
The place is "Seiryo Kaikan" , Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
These consumer groups clear up the questionable points about the bills that relates to the consumer problem that the government filed to the Diet, and examine the approach concerning the amelioration of the bill in the future.
