Dow Chemical Japan stops sales,recalls insecticide voluntarily

Worried about adverse effects to the environment

Dow Chemical Japan Ltd. announced on March 22that they discontinued and recalled sales of insecticide "Kelthane" (proprietary name) voluntarily.

The company fil the registration statement to discontinu the manufacturing to Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. It is because of having been announced for report by worry about adverse effects to the environment.

The company has been beginning recalling voluntarily since March 17. It is 11 products that recalled voluntarily including the pesticide related to the kelthane of five pesticide manufacturer companies in Japan.
