The display breach of the health food reached 90 %

Tokyo to order administrative guidance

Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced on March 23 that the display and the advertising research consequence of 79 health food items bought by the Internet.

The health food of 71 items that hit about 90 percent violated the Japanese Agricultural Standard, the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, and the Health Improvement Act.

Moreover, 51 items (65%) of 79 items violated two prescripts or more. The consumer groups severely criticizes the breach exposure , saying that "The meaning of the revision of the related law has not infiltrated".
