Tobu Railway admits information leak may affect 130,000 clients

The fictional billing triggered off the exposure

Tobu Railway Co., Ltd., private major railway company in Kanto, announced on March 26 that there was a possibility that information on 137,142 of customers of E-mail service "102@Club", which place along railway-tracks information was delivered, has been leaked.

The company said it acknowledges that personal data have been leaked to a third party who send the fictional billing to customers, which complained to the company last December.

The company had proceeded with the investigation since then, adding that it stops 102@Club E-mail business for three months in the future.
