The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will introduce Japanese Agricultural Standard of pork and chicken following beef. The introduction was a part of "The mechanism with a high transparency was made from the farm to the table" policy, and the demand of the consumers was strong.
It will set up requirements of the production standard in the near future. The third party institution attests passing on the manufacturing information of food to the consumers accurately. It is one policies improving the transparency of circulation and consumption including the traceability system.
