Japanese citizens group "NO! GMO Campaign" (web)composed of the consumers and the citizens in Japan visited Canadian government and state governments in the United States to request the authorization dismissal with the signature that dissented to GM wheat of 1.2 million in March this year.
The campaign has announced on May 10 the statement reacting on having announced that the Monsanto Co. company will postpone developing,adding that, "If the consumers of Japan fought in cooperation with the citizens and the consumers in the world, it was able to be shown not to be defeated at the Monsanto that promoted the sales of GM crops all over the world by financial ability and political power by this movement" in the statement.
