"NO! GMO Campaign" (web) that composed of civic groups and consumer groups announced the inspection result of ten soybean processed foods (bean curd and bean dairy products) displayed not to use a genetically modified soybean on July 22.
The Campaign clarified that a genetically modified soybean had been used for three products in ten foods.
The mixing rate was less than 5%. The level doesn't become a law violation concerning the display at once. As for the three meals goods, food contained GM soy beans while expressing the nonuse.
However, three foods to which the nonuse of GM soy beans was expressed contained GM soy beans.
The campaign requests the review of an insufficient quality control and display system.
