Agriculture, Health Ministries hold a meeting for BSE measures


October 5, with consumer, producer, and food industry

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare announced that they would hold the meeting to exchange the consumer, the producer, and the food industry for the opinion for the study of BSE, Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, measures in the country on September 24, while an infected cow with the mad cow disease that became 13th cases in Japan was confirmed on September 23.

The meeting is held in the Aitetsuren corporate employees' pension fund hall in Aichi Prefecture Nagoya City at 13:30-16:30, October 5.

Both ministries are raising the participant now.

The participation applicant will apply by fax by 12 o'clock October 1.
