Foundation Energy Conservation Center, Japan announced 43 stores as a large scale retailer who was positively selling the home appliance of the energy-saving model on January 14.
Retail stores chosen as an excellent shop are 14 Big camera stores, 13 Yodobashi Camera stores, 10 Joshin Denki stores, 5 DEO DEO stores, and 1 Satormusen store.
Especially, "Bic Camera Tachikawa branch in Tokyo" that did an excellent approach won "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry prize", and the Yodobashi Camera Ueno branch in Tokyo won "Minister of the Environment prize".
Yodobashi Camera multimedia Keikyu Kami O-oka in Kanagawa Prefecture and the Bic Camera Shin-Yokohama branch in Kanagawa Prefecture won "Prize of the secretary of Agency of Natural Resources and Energy", and the Bic Camera Ikebukuro headquarters in Tokyo and the Bic Camera Yurakucho branch in Tokyo got "Energy Conservation Center chairman prize".
The selection of an excellent shop has been executed since 2003 fiscal year. This commendation is the second.
452 stores applied at current year.
The victory ceremony is done by exhibition site "Tokyo Big sight" on February 9.
