Defect in bindings of snowboard imported from U.S.


Japan also does free check repair after United States

Snowboard manufacturer Flow International Inc ., of San Francisco, California state, announce recall of snowboard bindings 2004 Flow MK Series Snowboard Bindings also on a Japanese homepage. This company was announcing on January 13 that it would voluntarily recall 6000 bindings of snowboard through U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The model sold in Japan is "MK03" and "MK04". This company changes the defect axle pin used to secure the rear snaplock lever for the pin made of the stainless steel with enough strength. This company is asking the user for watching out on the homepage , saying that " Consumers should do stopping of use at once, and bring it in to the nearby FLOW shop for the repair replacement".

Import agent's Shriro Trading Co., Ltd. clarified that one person in Japan sprained the foot and his wrist on January 3 on the vacation of the New Year though the accident did not happen in the United States.
