Watching out to PlayStation Portable dummy file

Sony said hacked files might cause PSP shut down

By JCPRESS

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. ( SCEI ) that manufactured and sold a small game player PSP, PlayStation Portable to be able to play movie and music announced on January 17 that the dummy file to rewrite the software of the main body had appeared on the market on a part of Web site and the Internet bulletin board.

PSP doesn't work when the user downloads the dummy file called "Update file" through the network update-function. This company is calling for watching out to execute the update from an official site when the user renews the software of the main body.
