Health Ministry begins investigation of other examples of infection

"Blood departmental meeting steering committee" of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare reported on the case on April 26 that a man in his seventies contracted hepatitis C by tissue adhesive "TachoComb" (proprietary name) manufactured from the human blood to committee.

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare directed those who sold manufacturing to investigate whether a similar example of the infection had occurred.

Biological tissue adhesive "TachoComb" manufactured from the human blood has the shape of the seat of spongy, and prevents blood and the body fluid from leaking by the suture operative.
